Malaysian Gift Distributor: Turnkey Corporate Gift Sets

The customer is a Malaysian corporate gift distributor who needed year-end sets for more than 60 end clients delivered within 45 days, each with a different logo and volumes ranging from 80 to 1,200 sets. The challenge was small batches, many logos and one deadline. Our approach was to mass-produce the three-piece bodies — leather card case, pen holder and two-tier jewellery box — into stock first, then move logo debossing to the final process with tooling swapped per order, cutting changeover to 15 minutes. Colour boxes and insert cards share one layout with only the company name and QR code variable, printed digitally in short runs. The season closed at 18,000 sets with 100% on-time delivery and a 0.3% damage and replacement rate. In the second year the customer added wine boxes and desk sets and moved the order cycle to 60 days, with capacity now booked on a rolling quarterly basis.
